I really love designing Kitchens. There's so much going in a kitchen, and so many opportunities to pull in design elements from the rest of the house. It's a well-known fact that we spend most of our "at home" time in the Kitchen; it's a place to cook, eat, gather, entertain, and just plain live in. When the Kitchen is right, everything feels better. In old houses, a new Kitchen has to work seamlessly with what's going on around it in the rest of the house, while feeling like it was always there. In a new house, there are even more options for incorporating this hugely important space. Check out my book "The New Bungalow Kitchen" by Taunton Press. Here I get to really wax rhapsodic about designing Kitchens and explain my working methodology. So check out the many different types of Kitchens I've done over the years in the images contained here. There might be at least one here that inspires you...
